    It makes a small difference
I have seen a few crack and take the cases out
  4. Lightened fly wheels make a huge differance, makes sence getting all that excess weight off the end of the crank.

Buy an after market one rather than try and lighten the stock one.

yeah i have lightened quite a few in the past ......I did them to same measurements as a pro-tec lightened one ....but a few of them have come apart ......dont think i would take as much off in the future

yeah went to royce clive enginering and he wasnt keen on removing any from it ,might put back together and look at aftermarket 1 after new years

The aftermarket ones work very well

    ok ,next problem ,bloody ski

got the ski running and starts real good out of the water ,placed in the water starts ok ,went for a ride and it seems to be lacking power and miss fireing, futher up in the rev range

got it home and pulled the flywheel off and looked at timing it was out by about 2mm to the exhaust way ,

could this be the problem or is there another issue or could it be some thing simple like tunning ?
