    this should of been the second post and the last haha

    As an outsider I do look on and wonder what you guys are on about sometimes, but I usually just think "I guess you had to be there".
    Don't worry you're not turning everyone away, but I can see the point made.
    I do enjoy the surf videos and photos the best, so if you throw and few of them in between the crazy russian and team AH I'm happy :)

    if you take a look at trademe the squarenose sj's appear to be cheaper than the only fx1 on there (1800-2800 for square noses and close to 4k for the fx1)
    of course if your heart is set on an fx1 then by all means go for it, its your ski after all, just seems kind of pointless asking people for their advice when you have already got your mind set on something...

    I havnt got my mind set on anything, and the fx1 im looking to buy is the same price as a cheap squarenose. And I havnt made my mind up on anything, I simply wanted to know the pros and cons of an fx1 vs squarenose which there has been alot of good feedback.

    Hi. Have you considered the mighty Seedoo 3D. For around the same price as a square nose you get the elegance and buity of a pole ski. HOWEVER when you get tired or bored you can attach one of two seats and cruze around like Lord Farkwa " the short dude of Shrek" on ya couch.

    The last time i went to karapiro there was one of these fine machines there. Why would you want 3 decent skis when you can have one ski thats useless for everything, its genius!!
