When you jump on a forum and skite about how much your toys are worth, which nobody on here gives a rats arse, then he deserves a bit of shit!

now go put your fuzzy slippers on and dial up racing on youtube....

    Ciao....

Trust me dude if I wanted to skite id be droppin a bit more bait than that, but whatever floats your ski
Ive read a hep of those links you posted Rickster, heaps of info on there about handling etc and I see this topics been done to death overseas aswell.
Seems to me if an fx1 had the prop mod done it would be a sweet alround ski for playing on the lake (alot of my riding will be at karapiro or the river after work) and a bit of surf when I get the chance to hit Port waikato or Tga.
Simplest way to describe it I think is the Fx is like a trials bike, lighter and easier to flick round but harder to control when going big. And the Sj's a trail bike, bigger and more stable, better suited to hucking and holding on.

Exactly, in my opinion you are better off with a cood condition squarenose as the FX1 will take too long for you to master if you arnt putting a lot of time into riding.

    ill chip in another 2c,

allow shitloads to fix all the dodgey bits on any cheap ski you buy. most cheap ski's ive checked out and all the skis ive owned including not particularly cheap ones have needed plenty of money thrown at them to fix all kinds of bits and pieces.

think of it like a mx bike - constant money pit, but totally worth it.

    Nice comeback.

When i was geting into mountain biking i wanted to ride with dudes that were better then me so joined a forum. I asked a couple of newbie questions and got dished out by the typical 2 or 3 guys that constantly discouraged and put down new members and i never bothered to post again.

I have been told many a time from dalusion members' guys that hardly ever post that they cant be bothered with the crap that goes around in the forum and i cant blame them. Most of the members on here do actually still ride just not with the "cool" group.

have a good time in raglan.

Sox i think you need to step back and look at the thread again

Someone gets on here asking advise about which ski to buy
Everyone says Superjet but he has it already in his mind he wants a FX1
In one post moneys not an issue then in others it is as he has other sports(like most of us)
Then norm and rick start giving each other a little shit(like they always do)
Then YOU jump on and say no one posts or wants to ride with us cause its all our fault???
In other posts you have stated you would rather go watch jetski racing than ride in the surf with one or two people?Which has only started since Paula is getting a free ride from SKIMD!(and shes doing really well)...And thats your choice but i really think you need to read and understand the post and coments before jumping on here blaming us for wrecking "Dalusion" Because without the "cool" group everyone would just go back to riding on there own. At least the "cool" group arranges rides and events so we can ride, drink and laugh.
Sure we sometimes get carryed away and rip into some people And for that i say sorry...But even you must admit there are some really stupid questons sometimes(aye you crazy russian lol)

I know and understand youd like Dalusion to be this big happy family of jetskiers and racers and whatknots all chatting and hugging and getting along but im sorry soxs its just not like that.

Dalusion was started by freeriders for freeriders...Then once or twice a year we go racing as some on here have been doing it for years and others have just started but pretty much everyone on here thinks racing is gay lol.

So please just chilly out enjoy the good and bad posts and just enjoy jetskiing and all will be ok.

Ps...If your not coming to Raglan can you please bank your $30 into my account as your already payed for lol.

Pps...Bombsquad bring one of your street machines to Raglan and put on a show for us at Manu bay carpark...Love watching that stuff

    Wow epic post lol.
Re; that^^ Money is not an issue for the difference in price between a squarenose and a Fx1, I was meaning i didnt wanna go out and spend 6g on a roundnose sj. But at the end of the day if i can get a decent setup fx for 2g, then im not gonna spend 3 on an squarenose then another god knows how much making into a freestyle ski, I dont want a project I just wanna get on and ride it when i feel like a blat.

What i was wanting to know is whether theres anything holding me back from keeping up with sj riders on an fx1, and it seems to me if the fx has the pump done the answer is no.
Yes I realise it will be harder to ride and a different style of ski to the sj but that doesnt worry me, my question was purely performanced based.

Geez mate if you can stand on your tank while its rolling down the road it might be more like can we keep up with you on your FX1 lol...That street machine shit takes skill and ballance just as jetskiing in the surf so i cant see you having to much trouble.

    Epic post alright!

Yeah, I started out on a cheap ski and went through several cheap skis at quite a lot of expense.

My advise is go for the square nose SJ if its in your budget, it shares a lot of the same parts as a RN superjet and the bottom of the hull is pretty much identical to a RN. Probably the second best hull in the surf to a RN superjet (in my opinion).

Get someone that knows jetskis well to check the ski out. My first jetski was cheap, but was a grenade. The third time I rode it the bearings exploded and the engine died rather spectacularly. So 2k might seem cheap, but it'll be an old jetski which will more than likely have something ready to break.

Hey Bombsquad, bring your bike to Raglan and put on a show! Stuntbike Mike used to do it for the Daytona rides, and it was amazing...
