this is my first superjet i picked it up in april this year and am absolutely hooked on it havnt had much time to do anything on it because of work and kids. Its pretty much stock other than bilge pump and protec intake plan is to give it a paint job install foot holds, turf,and this prop i picked up (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWNX:IT) I have some klowners that i picked up from terry so first was to install them after ripping of the turf discovered a small crack running down one side of tray about half way along it. so i carried on cutting out for the foot holds discover wet foam so cut the deck of it which had come away from the foam aswell, was also wet foam there to so decided to de foam it so after a few hours with my kids claw hammer (great tool for this) and an isolating cutter the easy side was out so reinforced the side at the same time am thinking of putting a pvc pipe in there for a scupper or versi for down the line heres some pics of so far
Brunsco have cheap scuppers...Bout $20...I just put one in a project ski im building. Its worth doing before you reglass the tray up
cheers tofa got one today and installed it tonite also glued in some high density 25mm foam frames to stiffen up the tray due to the fact my expanding foam is pretty soft. ill take some pics tommorow shes and old 550sx under the tarp its what i learnt on at the start of this year
