Hi mate new to this. Me and 2 mate are just getting into free rideing we stay in the Waikato and looking at hitting the surf tomorrow for the 1st time. Is there any places you could recommend to go for 1st timers that isn't to far to travel. Cheers.
Raglan will be your closest. Kariotahi is good as it is a beach launch and the waves are small close to the beach and get bigger out the back.
