I remember a similar one a few years ago kicking around the south island. Not sure if it's the same one but he had problems getting it going well. Is it from the SI, what's it run like now ?
Could have been, just remember it as a red one with a bulge when the rear fire extinguisher is, as they had to modify the deck to get it to fit in.
Hey Guys, I have just finished building this ski so its all new, not the SI one. I built the one that was in the SI 10 years ago but it was originally blue and white. This one runs an 1100 Raider that Roger sourced in California.Fitted the Riva head,billet couplers,boysen rad valves and a Skattrak 19/26 magnum swirl prop. She hooks up pretty well! Just sorting the jetting then Surfs up!!
Yeah i rode that blue one at the river once with roger and it was not impressive at all, how does this one go?
1100 blaster It took awhile to get that one sorted as it was the first conversion I'd done. It went much better after getting the prop right. We radar-ed it at 63 MPH, not bad for a Blaster 1. The current Ski is running sweet, just a final pop-off setting to sort out. It pulls a 19/26 prop(standard is 13/17 I think) so I think it's got some potential.
If any one is after the the white and blue modified blaster hull you can have it for 600 includine umi steering.

1100 blaster Yeah Rob has his B1, I'm trying to convince him to do the 1100 mod, but you know Rob. I might see about getting my old hull back as the job is half done. Rob is in South America for 2 months so we should get Rick out on his blaster and get him fizzed up! Belbin is also looking for a B1.
