Is this diffrent coupling from standard? with a Kawasaki rubber? Its fitted to my SJ , im was just suprised to see it is all. Cheers [/url]
...it does look different...perhaps it's all Kawa? I have 2 superjets and a blaster II in the shed ...they all run: metal coupler with with three teeth each and the rubber donut has 6 teeth these are yamaha ones on the spares box
Check out this link: http://216.37.204.203/Kawasaki_OEM/KawasakiPWC.asp?Type=13&A=82&B=10 It looks like a Kawasaki coupler to me
A few companies make billet couplers for Superjets. They use the Kawa damper as it's considerably smaller and therefore the coupler is lighter due to the reduction in material req'd. Has a similar effect to lightening your flywheel. However, it's likely you'll drop 20g, not 200..
Thats probly what it is then, Just had a look at he flywheel and it looks like its had a bit of machining also. Supose it all adds up. Thanks guys
