Today while out riding i fell off and ski ended up upside down, lanyard was caught around handlebars and engine did not cut out until it stalled, took a while to start again as i thought it would be flooded, once going again it was really down on power, gave it some full throttle runs across the bay and it was fine at high revs but is now very sluggish out of turns etc, when i got back to the trailer and took the hood off, i had a fair bit of water in the hull, starts and runs fine but is now underpowered, also the water that comes out of the exhaust when i hooked it up to wash out hose was coming out dirty when it is normally clean. Any help would be great cheers
That's cause you went riding without me...MR DT'S. Check for water in your fuel. The black shit is due to water in the exhaust chamber...not serious, it will come right. If it starts easily then your carbs should be fine. Also check your plugs. Otherwise let me know...I can come around & have a look for ya.
Hahaha i think you are probably a bit higher level rider than us but we would like to go for a ride with ya sometime, possibly going to kakanui at easter if you are around. It does start fine, idles well, plugs were wet so cleaned them up and threw back in, might grab a new set tomorrow. might take it for a ride tomorrow night and see if there is any improvement

Took it out last night after stripping the carbs and draining fuel tank and new plugs, seemed ok power wise, maybe just a slight bog from low revs to full throttle, but miles better than it was. Hoping will be allgoood next time out!
