Speaking of that - just how good has summer been for everyone anyway? In search of the ideal lake, what about the weather as well?
Just thought I'd report just how good the weather has been down south. Combination of 30deg days and flat water, or 30deg days and lots of swell and waves.
I am guessing I have gone through probably 9-10 20L containers of gas since I got back from holiday on the 3rd. There isn't much in the way of poles or blasters down here though. Cept for three mates with Blasters I have the only poleski in all of Queenstown as far as I am aware.
If you want an ideal lake and weather, the mighty Waka could well be it. All for a 15 hour drive from Aucks!
