I'm after a trolley to suit my superjet so I can move the damn thing around my garage. cheaper the better, doesn't have to be flash at all. I tried to build one and FAILED and got too frustrated. One that can roll on grass would be mint to.

a rumour i heard is woolworths / foodtown ones work really well....

you cut the whole top basket off, take the bit where that folds into the kid seat and use it for a support at the front to take the load, weld that in place, rumour has it that they have perfect shape to them to go together nicely, then get some ordinary garden hose, cut a slit the length of it, use this to cover the sharp edge around where the basket is cut off, cable tie the hose in place.

then get some 50mm ish pvc pipe, glue some fabric / carpet shit to it, cable tie this to trolley.

    trolley complete.

of course this is all rumour and ive never in my life seen one of these work successfully over a period of time.......

i might be able to 'find' some photos of a 'similar' ski trolley that 'resembles' something 'similar' to what i have described tomorrow

only downside is they don't go too well on gravel or grass

yeah that is the downside. however if it is used for going from trailer to shed on a concrete driveway then its ideal

dude, i have a wooden one with castor wheels that you can have for free if you want it... can drop it off to you in my van for a beer if necessary

sturdy, very useful for shifting around the garage.
also its a really good height for working on.

chop off the wheels, replace wheels with larger grass suitable wheels.

I have heard that rumour as well
Seems the story i heard was that they almost roll to well and try and head out the shed with out you. This is of course all based on heresay

its not bad if your shed floor is flat, but my driveway has a very slight angle to it, and yes it does roll too well.

probably no good for those 60degrees driveways in auckland!
