    hi guys....
had my poleski running funny........ goes ok when slow but once you rev it it goes bad......
sometimes it was clearing out and going bad again....

found it was sparking on side of one of the spark plug boots.....
so degreased inside of the boot , put new sparkplugs and add few layers of insulation tape around metal parts of the plugs ........ just in case :)

    working as good as new.......

    what could cause the fault?
    thanx

water on the inside of the boots makes the spark travel down the outside of the plug i have had the same problem on my sj once before

Use dielectric grease on the inside of the boots and all electrical connections.

Dielectric grease and cable ties is the answer. Never had an issue. Use it on all your electrical's as well. Mint as.

do you put it around the boot or under the boot?

    Ok, let's think this through...

What good would zip ties under the boot do?

Exactly, so put the boot on the spark plug, and then use a zip tie at the bottom of the boot to create a seal.
