The big question is, what are you trying to accomplish?

If your surf riding, you dont want to extend it, just cut a d in it if you really think you need it otherwise leave it, i rode for years with a stock rideplate before buying one of white sox's plates.

d cut sound like the easiest and cheapest way :) what size radius

Where are you in Tauranga? what ski do you ride and where?

If you come out riding with the boys, you could probably try different setups to see what works best for you...

i live out papamoa tend to go down the kiatuna river to the entrance or to the lane at the beach aint got a 4wd though so makes the beach launch very tiering

Kewl, when you get your trailer sorted, we ride out at Matakana and usually launch from pilots bay.

back to the d-cut... Don't get too crazy, start shallow and test... It's easier to take more off than to add it back.

On a stock plate start 25mm from each side, and remember that by doing this you are compromising the structural integrity of the plate.
