reeds??

hey just wondering if any 1 knows where to get v force 2 reeds are these the best for a twin carb 701 with a riva exhaust

Yeah they are the best, I,ve got some coming in a few weeks direct from the states, let me know if your keen.

how big difference aftermarket reeds do?

just pulled my factory reeds out can i use the factory cage for v force 2 reeds ,and also do u get much gain from doing so ,

No they have their own special cage, V-force 2 reeds will give you a lot more than aftermarket carbon reeds..

dont replace with carbon tech reeds ever
just go straight to v-force

Whats wrong with carbon tech?

they make no difference at all to the power of your ski

so what is main reason to switch from stock ones?

Dont believe all the aftermarket things they sell for your boat actually work

Ive just known with the bikes that carbon tech was the go and heard v-force were shit but bikes dnt work well on water either.

My exeperience is that v-force are awesome in skis

Is'nt it so that carbon reeds dont hold their tension as long as original pettals???
"V-force" reeds have more surface area thus the pettals dont have to move as far therefore more responsive.
You can also adjust the tension of them.

You change your stock reeds cause their steel and if they break they fuk your motor, carbon techs are just carbon versions of stock reeds but v-force actually did some r@d and made somethong that gives you more power, hence the reed cages are different etc, you should have just got the ones i could have got you last week, now your going to pay a fortune :roll:
