A mate looking at the R&D dry pipe on TM.... while I'd personally opt for a B pipe... is there anyone who would go with the R&D and why?
It will give him more power obviously but he will have issues with the mount on it if he does a lot of surf riding
Will give more power than the B pipe? He is currently running stock pipe so guess anything has to be better.. He like us rides surf and flat...
yeah i think the R&D dry pipe is the highest HP gain pipe on the market....as with any big dry-pipe its not that friendly to taking knocks in the surf etc...
http://www.australian-jetski.com.au/category178_1.htm $995AU = $1298NZ tell him to go for a holiday and bring one back. or pay around a hundy for shipping.
yea I told him 1200 ish... few of the boys are after pipes so I suggested thay put in a 'bulk' order and they might get more discount... Cheers to all for help
I just got a B pipe from AJSP, shipping was $65 aust, Total cost was about $1395nz, got stung with $175 GST and customs clearance and then there was about $30 of foreign currancy conversion charge on my credit card. They Give us Dalusion members a pretty sweet discount, pipe on its own was $895 aust. I dont think theres any way around the gst.
4 the customs thing i got them last time to put the ticket price down so u only pay customs if its over $300.i lernt that when i order3k worth of shit thro work.so next time you do a big order ask them if they can say on the ticket where u put value that the price is less than $300.
R&D Dry pipe with water inj will hit hard on the bottom IF it is setup properly, You shouldnt be paying over $600 for a second hand one nowdays.
I have an r&d dry-pipe it works well and i have found heaps of low end power the difference between the r&d and the b is the throttle response You need to have larger throttle inputs on the r&d to get the power but there is more of it.
All the dry pipe have good hp gains but don't last and break mounts, personally i'd stay away from them and stick to the B pipe.
Rally? I have great results w dry pipes you just have to take care when you mount them so there is no side load on them I knowthe early type 4 factory pipes were bad. But I have not found that issue with the r&d
Some people like to run it some dont I dont like all the extra wiring etc , it seems to hit hard enough with out it
