As per the title, the pisser on my FX1 isn't squirting out too much water. It never had a strong stream to begin with, so I took the exhaust manifold apart to see if the gaskets were clogged. I found my internal silencer had corroded through, so the water that was being kept around it in the water jacket was actually leaking into the exhaust and being shot out the back. AHA! That will be it then..... I sourced a new silencer and gaskets, and reassembled it all. Aaaaand the pisser stream is even weaker. Wheres a good spot to start looking for a blockage? The tiny little pipe going from the exhaust manifold to the top of the cylinder head has water flowing through it no worries, and the motor doesn't seem to be getting overly hot. It may not even be an issue??? Let me know what you guys think anyhow!
Your problem is you dont ride in the surf. If you did all the oxidisation shit would be shaken and out the pipe. Take it in the surf and life is good
have you checked all the lines / fittings / outlets are clear?...you can get bits of shell wedged in there and restricts the flow. I assume you have a stock exhaust with normal water routing?
Haha Flan you reckon an aborted back flip from about 2 stories up will suss it? Might be right.... Yes stock exhaust. I'll go over all the lines this week, see if there's anything obvious and report back. Cheers.
Got the little pisser nozzle out. Rammed full of stones and grit. Gave it a clean and I'll see how it goes over the weekend. Cheers dudes.
