    somewhere like Mount Maunganui which has people at all year around would be ideal ......just hard to know if there would be any surf... :roll:

    Piha gets packed as thoughout summer. Also more likely to have atleast some surf. You could even have it up the beach a bit just past lions rock so it wouldn't conflict with all the swimmers and surfers and be more likely to get permission.
