Newby Freestyle help

Hey, me and my mate have been spending most w.e's out in the surf and are wanting to try get serious and learn some tricks (backflips, barrel rolls etc). We have no idea where to start and are after some help. We got some helmets coming too, just incase it hits the fan.

Ride with guys that are doing it then copy that shit

read the how to, then find some big waves in water deep enough that you wont hit the bottom, then drink some bourbon, then give it a shot. I will be trying the same plan once i can get my ski gong for more than 1 ride at a time
