flat water fags Actually it is really easy when you have a ski properly set up ski that is nice and light with a trim nozzel that points at the air and a blue printed magnum pump and a 1200cc powervalve team screem or dasa, the only thing you have to work on which is tricky is the set up wave but most other things you have to worry about when getting into flat water freestyle is telling your wife your taking a morgage on the house for 50 grand so you can do a back flip at tuakau..... cant see it going down real well. I know this cos ive been riding a bit with pete and John and ive had a small ride on his XFS rickter only with the 900 dasa and the difference between that and a 760 surf set up superjet is the same as a superjet and a 550 kawasaki. how ever with a good after market flat water hull like the bob weve got over here you can do flat water flips or rolls with yamaha running gear you just dont get decent height. (dont be decieved by the xfs video thats a skam, but a whole different story.) but top marks to leigh stone and especially bun cos that 20 ft high flat water shit is sick.... But surf is by far better you ve just got to look at the world wide following for that shit.

pretty sure Lucas was just makin the point that its a big aftermarket engine not specifying the exact CC's . ........havent heard of anyone in NZ with that big engine etc...
Re: flat water fags Doesn't 50cal on here have a superfreak that he does flatwater backflips on? I remember there were a bunch of posts on ozfreeride at one stage but i cant find them now. Correct me if im wrong but i think its the same guy??
Ha Steal it, thats what my pistol collection is for! I took all those posts down as people were wanting to come an (check it out) which I cant be fucked with and not too happy to open my home to people I dont know, You always hit the nail on the head there aquanob :roll: Yea I ride flatwater just a superfreak with 865xs in it, waiting for winter then might give it a transplant, like flatwater more than surf but wouldnt mind getting a surf ski sometime this year if a good one turns up
Better still bring it to a ride somewhere...as you have one of the best surf skis made from what i read
I think it is around 55lb chris, heres a couple of pics below sox,Tofa,Not really the kind of ski I would like to drop in salt water but will hopefully get a surf ski in the next few months, normally just head to the lake have a few good guys I ride with out there that have s.j,z
