how do you tell difference between 701 and 760 motor

there is a few differences but for starters a 760 should have '64X' cast on the head.

Bore it to 84mm and buy two pistons.

have 62t stamped where tourqe settings are its the twin carb motor in my raider thought about putting in faces fx1

could be a 701 ...waveraiders had both 701's and 760's....the 760 should have a really big exhaust.....701 will probably have exhaust that looks like a superjet one...

easyway to tell... on a standard blaster II 760 head the exhaust mounts (threaded towers) are at the rear of the head (ski).

on a 701 head they are at the front of the head

yeah....but you probably want to get the domes in your head re-cut to match the larger bore too .......or use a 760 head
