Can't get a b pipe, so it seems the mod pipe is my next option.
Is there going to be any problems/disadvantages using a Mod pipe on a stock 701?
will it still give the same low end as the b pipe if tuned right?

The factory pipe has both the mod and Ltd pipes for the SuperJets, I have one of each and cannot tell the difference when riding.

Or are you talking about a Blaster Mod pipe?

I had a mod pipe on my ski for years

You'll find alot of guys run the mod pipe on a stocker and a limited pipe on a mod as the bigger chamber works better on bigger motors.

But whatever you get it will be shit loads better than stock lol.

you wont get a B pipe "limited " at moment as no one has any

mod pipe is only one avaiable at moment so if you want one now !!!!

we run mods on our 701s and limited on 760 s

is this for your 08 SI

Yea its for my 09 SJ.

Cant get a B pipe till at least Dec, which was the reason for asking about this.

So from what you guys have said, i'll be sweet getting the mod pipe and it will be even better for any future big engine mods.

hey dude, you do realise a mod pipe is a B-pipe?....A B-Pipe comes either with a 'limited' chamber or a 'mod' chamber.........the manifold and head pipe parts are the same...so you can just switch the chamber part down the line if you really wanted to

AJSP get all technical about what you call them when you ring they class the long "limited" a B pipe

and the shorter a mod pipe although the parts are the same except for the chamber

Yep, I knew the head pipe and manifold was the same and figured the chamber was the difference.

End of the day all want is an exhaust that isnt a stock one!
It all got confusing when AJSP said they couldnt get a b pipe but they can supply a mod pipe.

So AJSP have put one aside now and i'll pick it up when I go over in a month or so.

    cheers for the help
