    im doing this with my tank in the middys ski im putn 2getter.did u just use heat 2 bend the pick up pipes and do u have any problems wif fuel leaking out of around the pick up being lower than full tank.thanks

    na didn't use heat ... they're only light gauge ali.. I just used my hands and bent them slowly and formed a nice radius.. you want to avoid kinking/creasing them.

    And no trouble with leaking fuel..

    Use the screws and rubber seal that hold the cap and collar in the nose when you fit them to the tank.... I also used an aviation grade gasket sealant that is fuel resistant.... and obviously drill the holes for the screws smaller so when you screw them in you get a good tight fit.

    Also you will need to cut about 3" of the filler hose to fit the pick up to the tank as the OD's are different. See pic on precious page
