  8. I think so. Gonna sus the tuning out a bit at tuakau on the way to the port tomorrow. Think my new batterys fuct tho. i think cos one of the wires was dodgy. I'm sick of spending money on repairs.

  9. Did you do any padding under that turf?

how does it ride comapred to stock? Might do it on my old one

For flatwater freestyle it is a good plate, the nose rides high and light. things like tail stands are are very easy due to the D-cut. I have only been in the surf once with this plate but you can slash into waves nicely. The ski also seems to slide out more predictably than stock. There are two negative things about the D-cut, the first is that when you land the ski after a jump it tends to want to stay in a tail stand and it takes a second to get your weight forward and get going (I probly just need to get used to this plate in the surf) the second is the ski becomes unstable at high speeds (wide open throttle). I would suggest you give it a go if you have a spare plate. Just get a metal blade on a jigsaw and cut / tidy it up with a grinder.

The bottom connection (pole bracket) of the ploe limiting strap will come apart pretty easily, mine lasted 10 min max in the surf, I got the shop to make up a crimp set up like whats on the steering end. Strong as.
