When i pull the primer on my 550 i can see it sucking fuel in through the fuel line but as soon as you stop pumping the primer I can see the fuel going back down the line and into the tank. When i try to start it, it'll go for a few seconds then cut out. I assume it only runs for a little bit as some fuel has been sprayed in while priming it? Any idea's?
there not blocked. I can see fuel getting to the carb but when you stop priming, the fuel slowly goes back down the fuel line.
just checked and that's not blocked. When i primed it for a bit and stopped, I could hear a hissing sound, like air escaping some where? I guess that's my problem? I'll but some new tubing for the primer and replace that tomorrow and see if that works.
Hi. If it runs while you are priming it but stops after you finish priming you may have a problem with your fuel pump. Check your diaphrams in your fuel pump or your lines to your pump
Not sure on a Kwaker but on a yami it is on the side of the carb. It should have a fuel in and out pipe and a pulse line which operates the pump. The pulse line comes from your reed block. Good luck.
I assume that: 1. Fuel in? 2. Fuel out? 3. pulse line? - where should the other end go? not sure what reeds are... 4. Where one of the primer line goes?

thanks BOOOOM!!! My SX is now running and not cutting out! There was a slight leak from the tee piece on the primer. Also the pulse line wasn't hooked up. I'm taking it to the river tomorrow for testing and see how it runs.
