Hey guys, do you install your footholds by your self or do you get them done by a shop? How much does it cost to get it done by a shop? and where do you buy get the kits from. Do they have to be ordered from blowsion or can you get them locally? cheers Mat
Hey, yea most of the guys glass there own in , i think the hardest part is gettin the mat to fit nicely over them. there is an install guide on wamitons : https://www.wamiltons.com/pdfs/foothold ... lation.pdf I think someone is making some up at the mo...hopefully someone will post up with details
Those instrctions look pretty good! I wouldn't be too confident with glassing my own ski though, I would prefer have some do it who knows what they're doing.
I have just finished foaming behind my footholds,For a first time effort they came out allright. Just think turf and under lay foam hides everything. Just use some 3m 5200 sealer to hold the footholds in and it allso seals the footholds from waterloging your foam. Give it a go you carn't hert it to much.
If you do your own ,sand it good and make sure you use EPOXY Resin . Whatever you do dont use Polyester Resin. Follow those wamiltons instructions and you'll be sweet

What about a footstrap, I have seen ski,s with these on, instead of cutting your ski out for footholes?
