What do you guys do to keep the water out when you fill the storage compartments up with expanding foam? I was thinking just smear some silicon sealant over the end but wanted to get your thoughts before doing this.

    Thanks

Nah well thats the thing. I couldn't be bothered painting the purple caps to match my new scheme, so I am just filling it with foam and when the side cusions are re-apholstered they will just cover over the hole. I just don'tlike the idea of water getting into the foam.

You could try 3m 5200 sealer thats what every one on pwc uses to hold and seal in there footholds.
