hi guys. i melted my steering cable because my factory b pipe screw holes were totally clogged. so i pulled it off and can only unscrew the top one to clean it out. I nailed the alum key bottom screw too. So... A) how do i get new screws/get them out first. b) can i just run it with the top screw only on for sufficient cooling/performance? C) what settings do you run your pipes at for good bottom end? any comments appreciated. cheers

If the top one is the only one open then run it at one turn out and if the pipe gets too hot open it another 1/2 but the bottom screw gives you bottom end i think, you will have to take it off and heat the fuk out of the screws to get them out, roger has screws but is away untill next friday,021739548.

I think everyone has already answered your question - i'll just add make sure you put grease on the new screws and give them a turn every month or two to keep em free. What are you riding now?

thanks for the reply guys. I got it in the water today and it was working great. I got the bottom and top ones loose so just started with bottom open 3/4 like the website said. went great, will open the top one a little next time to compare the difference for bottom end. Riding a 99 superjet now. Sold the FX1. feels like a beast compared to it. im paying for it today with sore muscles already.
