engine mount bolts

    one of the threads are spinning on my engine mounts whats best practice to fix them? get it out and epoxy a stainless nut in replacement? any ideas........ not russian ones please

    yea the threads not striped the insert is spinning

    and how do i do this? do i need to pull the insert out fill the cavity with glue put the insert in the cavity with glue in it and clean the glue out of the thread

    probably best to just buy a new mount bro you will save yourself money and hassle in the long run. AJSP $43.80each

    Shit sorry guys quick tampons back in lol i think the problem with forums is its hard to tell if someone is playing or having a dig.

    I agree with tofa only the riding matters my tampon has been thrown over the neighbours fence.

    Hey garry yep that last post is about right.

    When you put the insert back in put the bolt in as well this should stop the glue getting into the thread. a little wax on the thread will help stop the glue from sticking.

    Also make sure you scuff up the insert so it gives a good bond for the glue
