Engine keepers

    hey what size do the engine keepers need to be 8mm or 10mm

    depends on the material, if you're using thinner material you can fatten them up in the front a bit. i think the blowsion ones are aboot 8mm, but they are quite a soft alli. 3mm 316 would probably do.

    3mm stainless would last 5 minutes in my ski the way i ride

    blowsion are 10mm from memory, i ones i made where 10mm (ally) .....and lucas still managed to bend em!!!

    hey guys will work out pricing complete with longer bolts wont be much more
    (you cant anodise them because they are high grade marine alloy) watever color you do them they will come out balck

    hey guys mounts including replacement bolts flat washers and spring washer $60 in total cheers

    you can anodise them for corrosion protection, you just can't make them 'pretty'

    and yeah the blowsion are made from 3/8 thick which is just under 10mm

    we have cut them from a high grade marine so coating isnt nessasary

    not knocking you at all chaps, stoked to see you making them yourselves. Just curious thou, what grade in particular?

    No worries dude got them water cut so they look pretty sharp he did tell me what grade but that went straight over my head had moved onto other shinny bits will find out so you all know
