coil leads

    Hey i got a service done by water craft world and they buggered up putting the wrong leads on which they glued on and tried to charge me for new ones... told them no so i need someone who does this.

    Those are a bit of a mission to change, you have to try get the old ones out without wrecking the stab in pins in the middle of the coil.

    Sometimes the best way is to drill a hole in the side of the socket that the lead goes into and then you can get all the old lead out and fill it back up with a type of resin.

    Can work out cheaper to get a new coil! lol

    Kawasaki coils are the same if you know any one with an old Kwacka

    Iv got a couple of coils down here that Iv already taken the leads out of and Im sure Roger has as well, I saw them on his bench! lol

    Just got back from talking to Roger... he said he thinks its just the heads so no worries and thanks

    Yeh roger will give you the clear black and white eh. WCW will tend to suck ya money, then check the prob
