Any one got their front timing cover off that could take a measurement for me?? As the timing mark on my cases was smashed off I cant line my stator up with a timing mark? can someone measure where it is with a protractor? I have got it pretty close but want to be sure.

    Cheers

Hey, i've got my timing cover and stator off at the moment but its a bit too tight on space for getting good readings, i took some quick photos one with an old school protractor - i tried to match the 90 degree line with the bond line on the crankcase but it looks like i'm a degree off. Let me know if you need better pics or have any ideas on how to get a closer measurement for you.

Cool thanks, If pos can you measure from the tip of the arrow to the start of the next stator seat and the previous seat. I will sketch the points cause my description is a bit sad.
