I need a new battery for my SJ. Where do you boys up north get yours from and what sort do you recommend?
Supercheap have 16 CLBs but they look like cheap chinese jobbys

    The best battery I've had:
a completely sealed unit I bought from ......titty 1

they cost a bit more - around $160, as opposed to $110 like you're looking at.
    - they have 13 amp cranking power,
    - will never leak even upside down for weeks (sealed)
    - has never even got close to flat in 3 years I've had it, and can recharge if did
    - have even jump started my pathfinder off it.

    ^^that sealed one sounds mint.

I got mine from a motorbike shop, not sure of the brand but was about $50? I was stoked it was so cheap.
that was probably about 3 years ago, am just looking to replace it now as its getting dodgy and not holding its charge.

will probably try a sealed one now you've mentioned that.

..also they have very strong screw in terminal set up -made of brass not lead - so no dodgy terminal issues with them
  6. I had one of those $50 ones from supercheap. It was real small and saved a lot of weight. Only lasted about 2 or 3 rides so I took it back and got my money back.

Had a 16clb from super cheap and it lasted 6 months, go for the sealed battery IMO much better and worth the money
