I don know if you should take advice from me Im probably the first to be out of this sport but listen if ya want.

I remember what Sox told me one night we were on the piss, "Its going to hurt but its only water"

Thank fuck I havent hit the ground yet!

    Wear a helmet!

The fastest way you will learn is watching someone else, I learnt from Sox, Lucas, Norm.

Im no expert but I havent fucked my ski yet.

Make sure the water is deep.

My rolls are fucking ugly compared to Lucas, Norm or Sox:

Lucas hits them peaking with pace and remains standing tall while leaning over the pole. He rides out with big pace.

The set up is key. Approach directly to the wave at a constant mid pace, when on the wave turn opposite to direction of roll to lean the ski over then throw back the other way (desired direction of roll) while squeezing the trigger and leaning over the pole. Keeping both feet in foot holes.

    Lucas, Sox, Norm?

    Back flip.

You want a wave as high as your ski is long so when your on it the wave has your ski is standing vertically.

Hit a peaking or pealing (breaking) wave.

Approach slow, like nealing slow, standing but crouching down poking your ass out as far as you can, straight arms with both feet in the holes, as the nose of the ski lifts off the peak (goes vert) squeez the gas, stand up, throw your head back and look up. Stay standing, better to under rotate than land flat. (softer impact)

The bigger the wave the faster you can hit it, the bigger you will go and you can slow your rotation while in the air by crouching or throwing a leg out of the holes, but not to hard because the other tends to follow.

They are suprisingly easy but dont let go of the ski.

I agree with shopper except for the part about under-rotating hurting less then over-rotating (I would rather be limping then seeing stars). Riding practise is the key and watching others will help you progress the quickest.

Make sure u have engine keepers. They r a must or u will brake mounts and that hurts the wallet and u.
    Keepers around $90ish i think
    Mounts around $100ish each
