Anyone running on there B-Pipe Top closed, Middle closed, Bottom 1/10 Open and restricted at the Stinger?

Sounds like that would be too hot and would melt your coupler... You usually need at least one screw 1/2 turn open

Is thats what is running in yours?

Still need to sort my ski out, goes hard up high but bottom end still not as much as I would like..

Thats what I'm running, and it is fine, thinking about running the top open a little to see if it gives it more bottom.

when you guys do a WOT run for a bit and throw some water on your expansion chamber near the coupler, does it steam off? or sizzle?

Not really, ideally you want the chamber to sizzle but not the header pipe

I was running top 1/2 out others closed... resulted in a flattening off at top end.

Changed to 3/4 on bottom and 1/8 on top, middle closed and it keeps pulling hard with good bottom end now

I always run mine with the top two closed and the bottom at 3/4
gives great low end and a bit more over rev

mine is straight out of the box didnt check and half turn extra on the top goes hard!

Lucas found the way his head pipe was plumbed up (weather water enters at top or bottom) made a big difference ....mine was same as his was so mite switch around for next ride and see if theres a diff....

    yeah thats a good point

i always put water in the bottom this stops air pockets
i also run a straight out on the exit of the header pipe
this moves the water faster and keep the heat up in the header pipe

Yeah thats how we run them but lucas changed his, he runs back of head to top of header pipe and bottom of header pipe out the side with top screw open 1 turn and bottom open 3/4 and it has heaps more bottom end?

    ok sounds interesting
I may change mine and see what difference it makes

Yep I run the same set up a Loose Arse and it is pretty sweet down low.

lukas also blocked off the other outlet from the head too (it had a larger fitting installed than the small stock one) ...so that may have built up some more pressure in the header pipe...

Ive just machined up a flow control v/v that goes in the line to the stinger end of the expansion chamber. It shuts off at low rpm to dry out the water box so there is less back pressure in the exaust due to water filling the water box. I haven't had a chance to try it out yet but they are ment to make a big difference to bottom end power.

    They make a small difference.

This is from the wamiltons website for the wammer b-pipe. Wammers are supposed to be one of the hardest hitting along with group K and team scream. Their pipe is ported to 50mm and set up for dual cooling.

All seem to run the old way everyone had it routed.. No mention of restrictors, also doesn't say if one of the bypass fittings is smaller dia. Maybe the extra water from dual cooling helps.

I also have the one for twin 46's available but I'm not 100% sure who did that one..
