hey chenzo, its a speedway bike, 500cc single pot 4 stroke, unlike the old days of ivan mauger etc they rev up to about 10k, runs on methanol, pre charge ignitions, dry clutch, flatslide needle-less pump carb, no gears, no brakes, 0-60mph in 2.5 - 2.8 secs dependin on rear sprocket. just a bone breaker and money earner. brilliant job tho, if your after fun tho stick to ski's and minibikes. i could take an old one up to muriwai when the ski's are out if anyone fancies goin sideways..
60mph and no brakes? Thats mad! Sounds like a jetski except water is a dam sight softer than the concrete walls of a speedway track! Good on ya man, it takes some serious nuts to do that shit! We need to get you out on a ski, I reckon it would be interesting! Why do they not have brakes? Is that just to add some excitment to an already crazy bike or is there another reason?
i put a pic of my ski on users rides, i want a new superjet, tried one this year- unreal. but seeing as i just play at it, the sxi pro will suffice. the bike dont need brakes, they got high comp (13.1 - 16.1) so you got some engine brake, but theyre sideways all the time and that scrubs of speed, plus when your racing the last thing you want when fully locked up hangin off it is the guy in front stoppin.

My case is more a matter of off the ski's and onto the quad. The idea was after having a few injuries on the ski to take a back seat and just cruise on the quad but have ended up racing speedway on it. Nothing compared to that solo shown before but it's still a pretty loose. I ride a YFZ 450 yamaha.
