well ive finally got round to doing the photo bucket thing so i can put some pics up off my ski , hopfully i can work out how well here is my x2 its a 1990 module with a few things done to it hull is pretty much standard other than a wee hood mod to help it breath better the engine set up in it is a sxr800 engine with ported cases, v force reeds, sxr carbs with a blaster air cleaner. r@d head with 29cc domes (round 170 psi)650 electrics, 650 fpp pipe and a mariner water box. the pump is a 750 6 vein mag pump with a 5mm cut back 13/18 scat prop home made stubby pump cone and a pjs quick steer nozzle. works top loader scoop grate and unknown brand ride plate. acusteer billet steering mx handel bars.

thanks guys , i didnt do the paint job i brought it with it already painted . it was done at the polytech down here . one off the tutors owned it and they did it as a project . well lets see if i have worked out how to add pics yet here is the sxr engine ready to go in lol
ive started building another x2 for this summer buts its going pretty slow since i dont have a garage to work in . on the hull ive shortened the hull 50mm and am fitting tubbies , new front exhaust that i have made . reshaping the top off the hood and steering area and moving all the air intakes up by the steering . im building a new engine for it as well . motor specs are 840cc sxr engine , ceramic crank bearing , ported cases , v force 2 reeds , duel 46mm sbn carbs girdle head round 180psi fpp pipe blaster limited chamber. for the elecs im going to run one off wax,s programable cdi tmb non charging alli flywheel set up as a total loss. pump is going to be a 750 pump with a tbm super pump cone to turn the pump into a large hub pump set up . :lol: 8)
well ive added another ski to my x2 collection. the new toy is a 2006 x2. it was totally standard when i gpt my hands on it . i rode it like that for 3 days and then pulled the motor out and put a new one in that i had build up for one off my other skis . so the stats on it now are as follows hull is standard except for a duck bill and a scat track scoop grate and renthal handle bars and lock on girps. 500gph bildge pump new engine is sxr engine bored to 830cc with duel cooling r&d 17cc girdle head v force 2 reeds ported engine cases new hot rods crank rebuild with ceramic crank bearing and trued and welded fpp blaster limited wet pipe custom modded to fit wax inferno ignition standard crabs , soon to be changed for duel 48 full spectrums ive just droped the ski off for some new graphis this weekend hopfully so im loooking forward to seeing it then .
FArk mate that thing will go hard! I woun't mind throwing a leg ova a new x2 the look fun to ride. I have been thinking of a conversion hood for my sj but thats all thinking!
still got some tuning work to do wax but its pretty good so far. bottom and midrange is good , good snap out off the water but top end isnt as good as it could be yet . on radar it runs 52mph turning 7060 rpm. wont to get it faster than my old x2 lol(53mph on the old one). might have a talk to you about a different map for at the lake running bouys, the map im running now is great for the surf and playing round on, then again i hant tryed the other map that you sent it to me with (the wire isnt connected at the moment for the other map) and ive still got some goodies up my sleave for it as well , scat 14/19 prop, tbm super pump cone kiti and a 6 vein mag pump (thats in my old x2 at the moment) duel 48mm full spectrum carbs and a tbm non charging flywheel if brad ever gets it back for me .
oh yeah wile i had the engine out i ground all the excess glue out off the bond rail , man there was a heap off it. all in aid off saving a wee bit off weight. as you can see by the pic it made a mess :lol:
