kawasakis seem to be heaps cheaper. however. kawasakis with any chop in the water - might as well go home, the yamaha doesnt seem to be anywhere near as affected you can lean the yamaha down a lot more without the back end letting go more bottom end power much easier to work on... like when you need to put rubber under the waterbox to stop the hull vibrating and wearing to hell....... or when you have to take the exaust off to torque the head up. just heaps easier to work on. weight distribution is much better for me, im a heavier rider and the sj allows me to get my weight a lot further foward than the kawa you can retain gear storge whilst having footholds bound to be more good reasons
yea i have to say the superjet rides much nicer, ive had a 750sx and it porposed like a mofo and my dad had 300s, 440s, 550s, 650s and 750s, even the super modded ones dont ride as well as the SJ. also they have almost double the horsepower of a 550 straight out of the box. once again TRY A SUPERJET BEFORE YOU BUY AN SX-R so you know if you like it or not...
I must say 550s are fun to ride tho, well in flat water anyway. They handle like complete shit but they make ya laugh. you cant beat the thumb throttle and the wind up toy noise they make. Funny as
Yea dan its steve just finishing putting it back together tonight then test ride on saturday at the river and some bridge jumping. I do admit i have rode the 750 ski and would rather have a superjet but man the sxr is powerful 20 kilos heavier but hey the challenge is awesome.
