Hey guys! Steven here, went to Port Waikato with some of you (had the problematic FX1) Jonti sent me the link, cool site... Once it gets some interest it will really take off! Anyway I think we should all hit Kaiiwi lakes once it warms up again. Its north of Dargaville about 30-40mins. Fresh water action, with a couple of camping grounds from $7 each. Makes a WICKED weekend with a portable BBQ and drinks. And my neighbour would be keen too, he has a pic from back in the day when 550's were cool... About 10 skis all lined up on the beach! Gotta love it, gotta beat it!
yea the misses and i will be keen. went up that way last xmas and it was a great place to ride and stay
Could be keen to hit bayleys beach on the west. Its About 25min back towards dargaville from kai iwi and has good access onto the sand i got my Econovan on there towing two skis.
