Yeah bro, he's racing tommorrow on his farthing superstock sxr. he just got an 08 superjet to ride in the surf with us, he comes to port waikato with us usually.
Yeah it was quite weird, its twice as wide as a superjet, you have to keep it fairly flat to turn, awsome power out of turns as the turbo is straight on the power but a good second or so of lag when you gas it from idle. It was the 110hp model so power was o.k but not spectacular, was expecting more power for $27000.00. He has some 140hp and 160hp models coming.
I rode a hydrospace on the weekend in aussie I wasnt that impressed with the way it handled i think they are fast because of the way they put the power down They just build on the power where a fast two stroke hits hard More fun when they hit hard but maybe not as fast
I think Simon Medocroft must have an S4. I saw one in Te puke with #43 on it. I think that was his race number??
Careful tiger! Yeah Simon has had one for a while, it was an Aussie ski that was raced at the world finals, unfortunately he has had major problems trying to get parts for it so it has only been in the water a couple of times i think.
Dont know, he has needed a few parts for it, last i heard it was leaking water through the driveshaft seal and he couldnt get one.
