Well here it is my biggest project of the year! I have started on thr graphics as the pics below show and I will continue to post updates as the Engine rebuild starts. I did these graphics at home in the shed. This is the standard ski. [/img] The Stripped and prepped ski. [/img] The finished product!! [/img] [/img]
Wicked Ski man!!!!! Love those graphics, you buy em off exotic signs? Love the turfing job too, I want the exact turf on mine later! will be awsome build dude
mate wicked ride !!! now just wait for roger to bring all your fruit from the states and you will have a great ski.
Cheers Fella's!! yea got the kit from Exotic, they have a great design platform on their website so you can customise your graphics from a base kit, to suit your own ski. Good fun putting them on too! Cant wait for all the go fast bits from the states! Might be a bit much for this kiwi! lol
yea well there is alot of sit down stuff in your shed  mite have to take it easy at first on the stand up
Not so hard, just a bit of Ados F2 and make sure its good and tacky before you stick the turf on. Saves some painful exits from the ski having turf on the rails!!
Cool, I just wanted to put it on cause I had to break my rails to get them off, plus they were purple
Well I chucked on my 46mm Carbs yesterday just to see how they went! Most impressed!! Bloody amazing difference to be honest, especially on a stock standard engine! Took a bit of tuning and were not quite perfect when i left the lake but was still pulling like a school boy! It will be ood to get the single carb comparison. Right, il take them off again today! lol
Nice job Chez. Is that the 1 that was on trade me bak a bit? Are you still goin for the single carb set up? The twins definately have the best fuel delivery but always seem to feel rough and hard. Most of the freestyle riders and Blowsion team use a single carb set up. Let us know mate , I like what youve done so far...
hey just a point of interest, we've found with twin carbs you have twice the chance of starting your engine again if you get water in it from doin a sub or something cause most of the time the water only tends to splash down the first carb leaving the second one still able to fire the number two up.
Yea still going for the single carb, all the parts are here now and the engine is up with Roger so he can start the work on it. Should be all up and running in a few weeks hopefully. I put all my UMI stuf on today and will start doing the pump stuff tomorrow I think?
going to be a long two weeks lol  you will have to post the list of fruity bits you have put into it.
Haha, the fruity bits aye? lol Well here goes: Riva Single carb manifold. Riva 48mm Power Bomb Carb. Tau Ceti Filter and surf sock Ported crank case Lightened fly wheel MSD Enhancer Stubbie pump cone Factory "B" pipe Moto tassinari V Force Reeds ADA Billet, girdled head ( not sure of head pressure or dome cc's) Blowsion Engine keepers UMI Steering and Bars And thats about it!! lol
Im not sure what compression Im going to be running? Not going to run too high cos it would be nice to have a ski I can run on pump gas if I need to. Il run a mixture of race gas and pump gas most of the time but if I get caught short it would be nice to be able to run straight pump gas. Il have a talk to Roger and find out what he reckons.
