So I have just brought a ski, 89 650sx, after playing with a few mates sit down skis and love it! Iv been going out to Brooklands quite a few times so far and am growing more confident each day. Anyway, one day I saw 2 others hooning around, I followed them like a puppy untill they headed out the mouth into the 160 foot waves and I lost site and decided not to get to cocky on my 3rd outing. I was still splashing around when they came back and we all got our skis out at the same time. Well they where real friendly, gave me some tips and told me about this site. Then one of them said to have ago on his ski, Yamaha ......., Holy shit it was cool, didnt want to give it back! Well a big thanks to these guys anyway, they told me their names but forgot. Also if anyones keen to head out Im biting at the bit to barp barp barp! Thanks Shane

Was it Andy and matt by any chance? Andy comes and goes but there is me and Scott that ride in chch, except been pretty sure this winter. However skis on the mend and should beout riding soon. As flan said save ya cash and get a superjet! Well worth it!
Cant remember names but one said he had been in Auz I think. Too late to get a SJ, will work with what I have and maybe look into that when and if I 'step up to the plate'!
