Hay guys my water injection msd for my dry pipe crapd out n just wounderd what would be the best fing to do new msd geta b-pipe or run no msd Cheers
Was it the solnoid or the unit that died ???? I have a solniod here you can have if you like, it'll just cost the postage from oz to you
I have some modules, not msd though, micro touch and r&d which are better than the msd. you wont get a b-pipe anywhere, ajsp have them on backorder
What pipe was it Ie a type 4 dry pipe or a type 9 r&d ??? it was common for the dry pipes to actually go better with no water injection The reason being the msd could not be set low enough to remove the water early enough in the rpm There was a clear advantage in the mid range torque by not running it
Not sure what type it is its a factory pipe one, wires have broken outa the msd unit.myt jst remove it and run with no injecton over summer
is that my old pipe mish? if its the black factory pipe dont bother running it without the water injection i have been down that road and it was a shit waste of time it will have the same top end if you can even get there past all the spluttering and coughing. If you run it with water injection have the water hit as soon and as much as possible and then switch off at 5000rpm it will snap as good as a b pipe all day long and still have better top end then a b pipe. the only reason i stopped using it was the rubber mounts didnt like nasty surf landings and i had to keep replacing them. Its funny how everyone has a different theory with different shit it makes me wonder who has actually tried and tested their methods and who just assumes their theorys are correct??
I have tried it on the type 4 pipe Its a marked difference and much better The black pipe assuming its the same colour it is was when it came from factory pipe is there high rev chamber and its shorter than the type 4 This is why i was asking what pipe you had I have never tried a high rev with out water , in fact i have only seen 2 of them in my life time
Yep thats the one capt,sweet good to no will get a unit then, yea broken one mount n others just bout gone but they cheap n it goes hard so it all good. cheers for the help guys
