I won The auction and have now seen it and didn't buy it- there was a reason they didn't put up a photo of the engine bay. The hood seal is all expanded, the hull ,motor , tank are all covered in black crap. I worked out that it was sitting outside in the rain for "only seven months" and the inside of the hull had fulled up with water (to the top). I took the air filter cover off and the water has rusted the heads off the steel scews that hold the butterflies. They had listed the ski as needing a new throttle cable (which was fine) but I think the butterflies were stuck by corrosion inside.
They have got the motor going (only when the choke is on) and it didn't sound to good to me. Good compression 155 and 150. The rubber matts have shrunk and the paint is powered in alot of places.

It will need a steam clean or something and full carb rebuild plus a new crank ,etc. from being full of water. so if you want a project it could be worth an offer to them ?? PM me if you want the phone no.

If water has filled up and gone down carbs then it presumeably has gone into engine. Think it may need a bit more than a carb rebuild!!!

eletrics are probably toast sitting water always finds a way in bit of a waste the hull could be ok but would leaving it outside in the weather make it go brittle?
