What sort of waterproof camera are you using???

Looking at a new digital camera Olympus tough 8000 12mp 10mtr waterproof. What do people reconmend?

I am not using one myself personally, however I came across these the other day. They look like all the business.

I use an older olympus 725sw .......takes nice pic but video is a bit average.....Tofa has a new model which seems to take better video.

what are you after? a still cam or video ? .........if your only after video then something like the GoPro camera ( http://www.goprocamera.com/ ) the guys on www.ozfreeride.com use

Pitty we never get to use it! I will have to make you a helment mount for it. so you can film my backky attempts. Surf was mad yesterday so dodgy riding on my own!

I got the Olympus tough 8000 a month or so ago and it rocks. Take it out in the surf all the time. Only thing is the zoom is not the best on it as it has no real optical zoom only digital but other then that wicked. i recommend you buy the optional floating strap so your camera does not sink
